Job summary

Greystar's Ascent South Lake Union in Seattle seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to uphold safety, cleanliness, and functionality across the property's buildings, grounds and amenities.

The role offers housing discounts up to 40%, a cell phone allowance, monthly bonus incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to service requests, and assist with vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Previous experience with painting, carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• High level of professionalism in manner and dress.
• Excellent communication skills: read, write and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
• Accesses and inventories materials from maintenance department and reports re-ordering needs.
• Documents service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
