Hydranautics membrane-based solutions are currently in use on seven continents throughout the world for diverse applications such as seawater desalination, industrial high-purity water, surface water treatment, waste water treatment and specialty process applications.
Under limited supervision, performs highly complex maintenance related tooperations, machinery equipment and automation systems like PLC programmingissues. Incumbents perform major building electrical, construction andsecurity equipment maintenance and repairs. Modifies, rebuilds and installscapital equipment. Trains lower-level maintenance technicians, includingdrafting of training manuals.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Checks the operation of machines and trouble-shoots electrical,mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, equipment andautomation problems.
Performs highly complex preventative and predictive maintenance onmachines and equipment using various tools and equipment.
Trouble-shoots electrical and electronic controls on manufacturingequipment for rebuilding, repairing or fabricating purposes.
Diagnoses and resolves PLC issues with articulated robots usingladder logic and text-based logic programs.
Modifies and rebuilds manufacturing equipment to meet new machinerequirements or production demands with engineering support.Provides input to proposed manufacturing equipment. Acts as Lead inthe installation of new capital equipment.
Performs major building electrical, construction and securityequipment maintenance and repairs.
Understands and interprets electronic schematics fortrouble-shooting equipment.
Maintains work orders on a daily and weekly basis. Documents allmachine preventative, predictive and/or maintenance repairs clearlyand concisely for historical and future maintenance purposes.
Continues education and/or training by taking a class related tomaintenance technicians’ job on a continuous basis.
Follow safety regulations and adhering to OSHA and Cal OSHAstandards.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma and 6 years’ experience in an automationenvironment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advance knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic andhydraulic processes and repair methods/techniques.
Must understand PLC ladder logic and text-based logic programswithin control systems for manufacturing equipment.
Intermediate to advance skills in reading and interpretingelectrical and mechanical drawings, schematics and/or blueprints.
Ability to read safety rules, operating & maintenanceinstructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to train others in the maintenance of machines andcontinuous learning and application of maintenancetechniques/methods.
Organize and prioritize work orders while meeting deadlines tominimize production downtime.
Work under direct supervision, independently and foster acooperative spirit within a large and/or small team.
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and EnterpriseResources Planning (ERP) System.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES:
Forklift, Genie Boom and Scissor Lift Certificates, a plus.
Salary$32.69-$43.75
