Job summary

Chewy is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for our Fulfillment Center in Lewisberry, PA to perform preventative maintenance on the facility conveyance system and maintain warehouse equipment, racks, and structure. This role includes working at heights, battery changes, plumbing, carpentry, and metal fabrication, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will inspect conveyors, air systems, shipping and packing equipment, and building systems while following company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years technical experience in Distribution or Manufacturing environment.
• 480V 3-phase electrical and low voltage AC/DC experience.
• Experience with building systems (fire suppression, air compressors, power distribution).
• Understanding of PLCs and ladder logic.
• Conveyor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Inspect conveyors, air systems, shipping, packing and building systems.
• Execute plumbing, painting, rack repair, general carpentry and metal fabrication.
• Change batteries and repair chargers as needed.
• Investigate problems and repair conveyor/packaging systems.
• Complete repair orders and track parts usage.
• Work in various seasonal climates.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.

Our Opportunity: At Chewy, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician III at our Fulfillment Center in Lewisberry, PA. This position is used for Preventative Maintenance of the facility conveyance system, fixing, repairing and maintaining warehouse equipment, rack repair & changes, working at heights, performing battery changes, housekeeping, plumbing, metal fabrication and carpentry. What You’ll Do

• Ensure that all equipment is operating accurately and safely.
• Perform periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout our facility as assigned and according to schedule.
• Perform inspections of conveyor systems, air systems, shipping, packing equipment and building systems.
• Tasks may include plumbing, painting, rack repair, cleaning, general carpentry skills and metal fabrication.
• Change batteries and repair batteries and chargers as needed.
• Ability to investigate problems and fix various conveyor and packaging systems.
• Complete repair orders and parts usage records.
• Work in various seasonal climates.
• Follow our company policies and safety procedures.
• Ensure a safe work environment.

What You’ll Need
