Overview

In this role as an Equipment Maintenance Technician III, your primary responsibility will be maintaining production infrastructure including packaging, filling and processing equipment in a regulated environment. You will be part of our PM program and inspection processes. You will also support other groups to maintain the facility, including production and utility equipment, in order to meet product quality and production schedule requirements. This position is key to ongoing preventive maintenance and management of all infrastructure systems and building equipment including purpose-built machinery. Position may have "On Call" duties for after-hours equipment emergencies during packaging of perishable products.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled equipment preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, fill out PM check sheets, sign and date equipment tags, and log tasks into computer maintenance management software.
• Maintain chart recorders and log books in a GMP environment.
• Assist in Capital Improvement Projects with other mechanics and engineering, prepping areas, and supporting normal business activities.
• Assist other Maintenance Associates with daily tasks.
• Support other groups to maintain the facility, including production and utility equipment, to meet product quality and production schedule requirements.
• Possibly perform "On Call" duties for after‑hours equipment emergencies during packaging of perishable products.
• Assist management with specific tasks including spare parts inventory and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Regular daily maintenance of all infrastructure systems and building equipment, including purpose-built machinery.

Qualifications

• Experience in performing preventive maintenance of production packaging, filling, and processing equipment.
• Knowledge of GMP environment and record keeping.
• Proficiency with computer maintenance management software.
• Capable of supporting capital improvement projects and assisting engineering.
• Ability to work in a regulated environment and perform on‑call duties.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Location

This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this position is $32.59 to $44.85 per hour, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors that fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and other job-permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
