Bio-Rad in Irvine, CA is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician III responsible for maintaining production infrastructure across packaging, filling and processing equipment within a regulated environment. You will participate in the PM program, uphold GMP practices, and support equipment inspection processes.
You’ll assist in maintaining facility production and utility equipment, support capital projects, and contribute to continuous improvement and spare parts management.
In this role as an Equipment Maintenance Technician III, your primary responsibility will be maintaining production infrastructure including packaging, filling and processing equipment in a regulated environment. You will be part of our PM program and inspection processes.
You will also support other groups to maintain the facility including production and utility equipment, in order to meet product quality and production schedule requirements. This position is key to ongoing preventive maintenance and management of all infrastructure systems and building equipment including purpose-built machinery. Position may have "On Call" duties for after-hours equipment emergencies during packaging of perishable products.
Maintenance Mechanic III is also a position with growth potential. Their diligence helps maintain the daily activities and provides feedback to others in the department, production, and engineering. They assist management with specific tasks including spare parts inventory and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $32.59 to $44.85 per hour, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
