Job summary

CM Truck Beds is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage equipment maintenance logs, inventory parts, and quarterly PM manual updates. The role covers day-to-day facility maintenance and preventive/corrective tasks in a welding environment, with collaboration across the maintenance and production teams.

The position requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience, knowledge of trades (welding, electrical up to 480VAC 3-phase, plumbing, hydraulics/pneumatics, painting), and proficiency

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ maintenance experience.
• Direct experience with maintenance planning and computer systems.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills required.
• Must have strong working knowledge of basic trades, such as welding, electrical (up to 480VAC, 3 Phase), plumbing, hydraulics/pneumatics, and painting equipment.
• PLC and VFD experience is a plus.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical aspects, pumps, and motors, mechanical systems with a similar degree of complexity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel applications.
• Maintain a valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work on-call and extended hours (including after hours and weekends).

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment maintenance logs and parts inventory.
• Update preventative maintenance manual quarterly.
• Perform day-to-day routine maintenance of the facility.
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance in a welding environment.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Technicians, and Production Supervisors.
