Job summary

RealTruck is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and basic repairs on a range of equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining small tools, and collaborating with engineering to reduce downtime.

Shift hours are 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday to Friday, with on-site responsibilities in Lawrenceville, GA. The candidate will manage CMMS work orders, assist with parts inventory, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years forklift experience preferred.
• 3 years working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex machines, including electrical/PLC, mechanical, welding, hydraulics/pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve maintenance issues and improve equipment reliability.
• Manage CMMS: create work orders, upload documentation, and update parts.
• Assist with inventory: catalog parts and order replacements.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I on equipment and advanced manufacturing systems.
• Rebuild machines, tools and heavy equipment and create special tools for production.
