MI Windows and Doors LLC in Gratz, PA is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production machines and facility equipment. This role supports safety and efficiency goals through preventive and reactive maintenance within a 5am–5pm Friday to Sunday shift.

The ideal candidate will read manuals and work orders, diagnose problems, replace parts, and perform routine preventive maintenance while ensuring clean, organized work areas and strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Maintenance tech with ability to install and repair production equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Reading manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and service.
• Safety compliance and clean, orderly work areas.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibility.
• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts and test adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Use hand/power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
• Report unusual situations to supervision and ensure safety.

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.Typical Duties and Responsibilities:• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments.• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.• Perform other duties as assignedWhat We OfferAt MITER Brands, we invest in your health, wealth, and wellness.
