Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to keep production machinery and electrical systems running safely and efficiently. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild equipment and support preventive maintenance.

The role involves day travel to nearby locations and requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience; a high school diploma is required, with a 2-year technical degree preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm at the Schulenburg plant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years experience in Industrial Maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on Mechanical and Electrical Equipment, and/or equivalent military experience.
• Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging. Commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Provide support and guidance to operators on machine reliability and changeovers as needed.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and document issues clearly.
• Maintain records and comply with safety and quality protocols.
