Job summary

Perdue Farms Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to keep production equipment running at peak performance.

You will install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and automated systems, performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement across the facility. The role requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical work, welding and rigging.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and maintenance experience.
• 2-year technical degree in engineering or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broader range of duties, more technically complex tasks, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
• Provide equipment maintenance, interventions, and repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Perform intermediate level troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Support operators with overall equipment reliability and production changeovers.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain work records and prepare clear oral and written reports.
• Follow safety standards and quality protocols to ensure production excellence.
• Work all required schedules; day travel to nearby locations may be required.
