Job summary
Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the maintenance department with preventative and predictive maintenance of material handling systems. The role involves mechanical power transmission, electrical, PLC/controls, and related systems, with troubleshooting responsibilities under supervision.
The position requires a HS diploma or equivalent, relevant certifications, and at least two years of industrial maintenance experience.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in at least two specialty skills in mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/controls.
- Related military experience will be considered.
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance/Electrical/Mechanical trade or related certificates may be considered equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provides preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
- Troubleshoots mechanical and electrical problems within the material handling system.
- Uses CMMS to enter and retrieve prescribed data.
- Works with safety standards and attends required trainings.
- Participates in smaller scope projects and supports higher level Technicians as needed.
