Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our distribution centers. You will troubleshoot and repair facility equipment, including PLCs, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics, and ensure PM standards are followed.

You will also train junior technicians and coordinate with external vendors to complete DC projects safely. The role requires 3–5 years of experience and an associate degree or technical certificate in mechanical or electrical disciplines, with strong

Qualifications

Associate's degree or technical certificate in mechanical or electrical field.
3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
Welding, burning and cutting experience.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
Familiar with DC-specific software packages and equipment.
Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
Good safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Adhere to safety requirements including OSHA standards (LOTO).
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment; follow PM standards; document work in asset management system; expertise in conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and related equipment.
Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to Maintenance leadership.
Help train junior technicians to elevate performance.
Collaborate with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely.
Take on additional duties to support DC operations.
