Job summary

RENOLIT Corporation in La Porte, IN is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure and improve operation of calendar and extrusion machines from a mechanical/technical perspective. You will troubleshoot PLC controls, AC/DC drives, hydraulics and pneumatics, with general building and grounds upkeep included.

Required: high school diploma or GED, 2 years technical schooling with 3+ years maintenance experience or 7+ years industrial maintenance, electro-mechanical aptitude test, basic electrical

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years technical schooling plus 3+ years proven maintenance experience or 7+ years industrial maintenance experience
• Successful electro-mechanical aptitude test
• Mill and Lathe experience beneficial
• Basic electrical experience beneficial
• Use of precision measuring instruments required

Responsibilities

• Ensure and improve proper operation of machines
• General machine repairs (mechanical)
• General building repairs (electrical, plumbing, structure)
• Fabrication and welding (stick, mig, brazing)
• Schematic / blueprint reading
• Follow all 5S, safety, ARC policies
