Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues by observing operation and using precision measuring instruments.
• Remove and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment and basic machinist skills.
• Adjust functional parts and control instruments to manufacturer and company specifications.
• Minimize downtime through scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Operate equipment including forklifts, electric carts, articulating booms, and manlifts.

Job description

Maintenance Technician – Night Shift

• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Pay - $28-$38
• Sign-On Bonus Available — Up to $2,500

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery and mechanical equipment

• Diagnose equipment issues by observing machinery in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments

• Remove and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes

• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment and basic machinist skills

• Adjust functional parts and control instruments to manufacturer and company specifications

• Help minimize downtime through scheduled preventive maintenance activities

• Operate equipment including:

  • Forklifts

  • Electric carts

  • Articulating booms

  • Manlifts

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability

• Electrical experience required; PLC knowledge preferred

• Experience with:

  • Hydraulics & pneumatics

  • Conveyor systems

  • Chain drives

  • Gearbox rebuilds

  • Belt replacement

  • Motor replacement

  • HVAC systems

  • Plumbing systems

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Education & Experience
