Job summary

Merz North America, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support production, quality, and R&D facilities on-site. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, document work orders, and assist with equipment projects.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years in maintenance trades, and familiarity with CMMS/SAP. On-call duties are part of the role; remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school certification or enrollment preferred.
• 1–2 years basic to intermediate knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC.
• 1–2 years experience in facility, equipment, manufacturing, or related maintenance trades.
• Less than 1 year experience in GMP/regulatory environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to moderately complex preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and building systems.
• Address safety hazards and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Assist with equipment projects and maintain spare-parts inventory.
• Document work orders in the CMMS/SAP system.
• On-call rotation for maintenance duties.
