Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Maintenance Skilled Technician to install, maintain and repair automated material handling equipment. The role includes troubleshooting conveyors, robotics, AS/RS systems, and performing preventive maintenance to maximize equipment availability at our NJ facilities.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in industrial maintenance, familiarity with wiring diagrams and PLCs, and the ability to work with handheld devices for work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in distribution, manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• PC literacy and use of handheld/mobile apps for work orders.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams and electrical measurements.
• Experience with industrial tools, basic carpentry/plumbing, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of MHE on site (conveyors, sortation, robotics, AS/RS).
• Adjust components, sensors, and actuators; calibrate equipment and perform repairs.
• Complete preventive/predictive maintenance and create/close work orders.
• Perform basic electronics/PLC troubleshooting and assist with root cause analysis.
• Operate company vehicles for exterior maintenance and parts procurement.
