Job summary

The ideal candidate will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain detailed service records while adhering to safety regulations. This role supports multiple maintenance disciplines and requires lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance, MHE/forklift repair, or related mechanical fields.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn and support multiple maintenance disciplines.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cold storage environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building infrastructure, including dock doors, overhead doors, and related systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Identify and resolve mechanical and basic electrical issues within the facility.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure uptime and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of other facility equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve reliability and minimize downtime.
