Job summary

GuideWell is seeking a Maintenance Technician to independently perform planned and corrective maintenance on electrical, HVAC, mechanical, life safety, and plumbing systems across facilities in Florida. The role includes operating industrial HVAC equipment, managing life-safety systems, and coordinating with supervisors on priorities and scheduling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related work experience in building systems maintenance and repair.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of chiller plant operations and basic HVAC maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic electrical operations and maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and MEP plans.
• Experience with pump, bearing, and fan motor replacements.
• Experience identifying and replacing faulty plumbing components.
• Experience using Windows-based computer systems.
• Must meet Regular Driver requirements per Vehicle Use Policy 4.16.
• Ability to work variable shifts, nights, weekends, overtime and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building engineering systems.
• Diagnose and perform corrective maintenance on building systems.
• Build, modify, and repair furniture and conduct large room setups for conferences.
• Operate and repair HVAC, electrical, mechanical, life safety, and plumbing systems.
• Monitor vendor performance of major equipment systems maintenance.
• Perform light carpentry and electrical tasks such as painting and ballast changes.
• Monitor critical facilities equipment using the Building Management System and report abnormalities.
