Job summary

GuideWell in Florida is seeking a skilled facilities maintenance technician to perform planned and corrective maintenance on electrical, HVAC, mechanical, life safety, and plumbing systems across multiple sites.

You will operate industrial HVAC systems including chillers and pumps, read blueprints, troubleshoot systems, and support large room setups. Shift work (days, nights, weekends) is required, with overtime and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience on HVAC and electro-mechanical building systems.
• Knowledge of chiller plant operations.
• Knowledge of basic HVAC electrical maintenance.
• Experience reading mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans.
• Experience with pump, bearing, and fan motor replacements.
• Experience using Windows-based computer systems.
• Must meet the requirements to be classified as a Regular Driver per Vehicle Use Policy 4.16.
• Shift work including day, night, and weekend rotations, overtime and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building engineering systems.
• Diagnose and perform corrective maintenance on building engineering systems.
• Build, modify, and repair furniture per drawings; conduct large room setups.
• Operate and repair HVAC, mechanical, life safety, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Monitor vendor’s performance of major equipment systems maintenance.
• Perform light carpentry and electrical work such as painting, drywall repairs and ballast changes.
• Monitor and operate critical facilities equipment using Automated Building Management System.
