Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support building operations, perform preventative maintenance, and participate in system design discussions. The role focuses on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems with daily involvement in building management systems and on-site inspections.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma with 3–5 years of related experience, BMS proficiency, and the ability to act as Lead Engineer when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Experience with building management systems is required.
• Ability to lead engineering discussions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and trend facilities systems and status via BMS.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Maintain HVAC, boilers, heating and cooling systems, and related equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours service calls as primary contact.
• Communicate status and work performed to owner or supervisor.
• Support project design discussions and prepare materials lists.
• Housekeep mechanical/electrical rooms and assist other trades.
