You will support senior technicians, help with apartment turns, learn property systems, and develop skills toward more independent maintenance. Working hours are typically 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with some schedule variations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred (may be waived for trainee roles).
• 0–1 year experience in maintenance, labor, or trades.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license and safety awareness.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Reliable and consistent team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, appliances, lighting, locks, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests under supervision of senior staff.
• Assist with apartment turns, cleaning, repairs, and preparation for move-ins.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
• Assist with exterior maintenance including parking areas, garages, and common outdoor spaces.
• Support grounds work such as trash pickup, snow removal, and exterior cleanliness.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and company information.
