Job summary

The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking an entry-level maintenance worker to perform basic manual maintenance tasks learned with short on-the-job training. You will use basic hand tools to operate equipment such as mowers, forklifts, string trimmers, and light fleet vehicles.

You may oversee offender workers and receive supervision from a designated supervisor. Must be 18+ with 1+ years of related experience or relevant training/certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older, with one or more years of experience relevant/similar to the listed job functions, or completion of a relevant technical training program, or job certification
