Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician III to perform maintenance in a manufacturing environment in Hobart, Indiana. The role requires reading blueprints, troubleshooting machinery, and hands-on work with sheet metal fabrication equipment, lasers, presses, saws, and welding gear.

Ideal candidates are legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, with strong electrical wiring knowledge (110V–480V) and a solid safety focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year trade school certification preferred; 5 years industrial electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs in accordance with Safety and OSHA requirements.
• Accurately complete and document work orders in CMMS.
• Troubleshoots electrical breakdowns and makes repairs.
• Installs new or purchased equipment.
• Calibrates testing instruments.
• On call for emergency repairs as necessary.
• Coordinates maintenance activities with department managers.
• Participates in continuous improvement projects.
