Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician III to perform a variety of maintenance tasks within an office and manufacturing setting in Hobart, Indiana. The role requires on-site availability during a 9:00pm–5:30am shift, with weekends and overtime as needed.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, troubleshoot machinery, and have hands-on experience with sheet metal equipment such as lasers, press brakes, saws, and welding tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year trade school certification or 5 years industrial electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs in accordance with Safety and OSHA requirements.
• Accurately complete and document work orders promptly in CMMS.
• Troubleshoots electrical breakdowns and makes repairs.
• Installs new or purchased equipment.
• Calibrates testing instruments.
• Coordinates and schedules maintenance activities with department managers.
• On-call for emergency repairs as necessary.
