Job summary

Daifuku in Hobart, IN is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician III to perform a broad range of on-site maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment. The role requires reading blueprints, troubleshooting machinery, and performing repairs on sheet metal fabrication equipment, including lasers, press brakes, saws, and welding gear.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a 2-year trade school cert or 5 years industrial electrical experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year trade school certification or 5 years industrial electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings; troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Must be available to work 3rd shift on-site in Hobart, IN including weekends/OT (9:00pm–5:30am).

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per Safety and OSHA requirements.
• Document work orders promptly in CMMS.
• Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and make repairs.
• Install new or purchased equipment.
• Assist in inspections of building systems and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with department managers.
