Maintenance Tech II
The Maintenance Technician II provides assistance in maintaining the property, plant and equipment of the facility.
Maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in operable conditions.
Performs maintenance tasks in accordance with procedures and preventative maintenance schedule.
Responds to maintenance requests by Residents and Staff.
Maintains storage and mechanical areas in clean, orderly manner.
Assists in removal of trash and debris. Maintains interior and exterior of all buildings.
Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies.
Constructs, repairs and maintains structures such as equipment, partitions and other parts of buildings, using hand and power tools according to written and oral instructions.
Performs electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, plaster, repairs and plumbing tasks as directed.
Performs periodic inspections of property, plant and equipment. Performs landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, hedging, weeding, spreading fertilizer, mulch, sowing grass, setting out plants, watering, trimming of trees and shrubs.
Participates in safety, fire control, security and other matters related to Life and Safety Codes.
Assists in maintaining, cleaning and inspecting company motor vehicles.
