Job summary

Duro-Last, a division of Amrize Building Envelope, is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for the 2nd shift at its Saginaw, MI plant. This full-time position runs 2:00pm–10:30pm and focuses on maintaining and repairing equipment, troubleshooting machinery, and coordinating with vendors to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance or electrical experience, the ability to read manuals and blueprints, and a strong safety record with the capacity to work

Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems and a division of Amrize Solutions & Products, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in their Saginaw, Michigan plant. This is a full-time 2nd Shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm), hourly position with excellent benefits.

Essential Functions

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Maintain facility and associated equipment.
• Work with maintenance vendors.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards.

Requirements

• 3-5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience is highly desired.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.
• Must have experience with Industrial Controls.
• Mechanically inclined, and able to perform physical labor, lifting & operating machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and experienced with fabrication.
• Excellent safety and attendance record.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Self-motivated and be able to multi-task.
• High attention to detail and be exceptionally organized.
• Must have initiative and be able to work in a team and individually.
