Job summary

Duro-Last Roofing, a brand of Amrize Building Envelope and the world’s largest manufacturer of custom-fabricated commercial roofing solutions, seeks a Maintenance Tech II for the 2nd shift in its Saginaw, Michigan plant. This full-time, hourly position offers hands-on maintenance of manufacturing equipment and collaboration with maintenance vendors to keep operations running smoothly.

You will read and follow manuals, read blueprints, and work with electrical components while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• 3-5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience is highly desired.
• Must have experience with Industrial Controls.
• Ability to read instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step procedures.
• Read blueprints and have fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Maintain facility and associated equipment.
• Work with maintenance vendors.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards.

Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems and a division of Amrize Solutions & Products, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in their Saginaw, Michigan plant. This is a full-time 2nd Shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm), hourly position with excellent benefits.

Essential Functions

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Maintain facility and associated equipment.
• Work with maintenance vendors.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards.

Requirements

• 3-5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience is highly desired.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.
• Must have experience with Industrial Controls.
• Mechanically inclined, and able to perform physical labor, lifting & operating machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and experienced with fabrication.
• Excellent safety and attendance record.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Self-motivated and be able to multi-task.
• High attention to detail and be exceptionally organized.
• Must have initiative and be able to work in a team and individually.
