Job summary

Maker's Pride in Itasca, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician I–III to perform diversified maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You will troubleshoot, repair equipment, and carry out preventive maintenance with proper GMP adherence.

Minimum qualifications include a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience, a high school diploma, ability to read/write English, and 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• Requires a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance according to skill level and safety policies.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Identify faulty operations or materials and report to Maintenance Manager.
• Use Microsoft Office to order and schedule parts and jobs.
• Maintain GMP documentation and safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
