Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep of all plant equipment and support the introduction of new machinery. You will troubleshoot, install, inspect, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems while coordinating preventive maintenance and ensuring safety policy compliance.

In this on-site role, you will also handle equipment installation, document procedures, and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

Requires 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance.
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Salary Range: $21-$25 per hour.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment.
Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.
Install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments.
Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in entire plant.
Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines.
Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools.
Must comply with all company safety rules and policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds or less.
Requires frequent speaking, standing, and walking.
Occasional grasping, reaching, and bending.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses.
Sense of sound, touch, and sight.
