Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. in Long Key, Florida is hiring for a Maintenance - Level I to join our property services team.

As a Maintenance Worker you will perform a range of technical tasks including HVAC repairs, plumbing, carpentry and groundskeeping, helping ensure our community meets high maintenance standards. You’ll work with the Maintenance Supervisor, attend daily briefings, monitor inventory and support after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of direct technical work experience in applicable areas, including irrigation repairs, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC repairs and adjustments and other maintenance duties.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and appealing resort environment.
• Attend morning staff meetings and communicate with vendors.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; report concerns and perform repairs.
• Move heavy objects and operate maintenance trucks as needed.
• Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
