Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to sustain production equipment and lead preventative maintenance projects on a 24/7 site. You will document work orders, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and work with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and improve plant systems.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, strong knowledge of PLCs, and a solid safety mindset. Candidates must be able to work overtime to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance field.
• Knowledge of electrical systems including PLCs.
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions and maintenance reports.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and report hazards; act as safety role model.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and document work orders.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production to improve systems.
• Wear PPE and adhere to plant safety requirements.
