Job summary

Rockline Industries, Inc. seeks a maintenance technician in Kentucky to perform routine troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on processes and equipment. The role supports the Equipment Planner and CI Technician and contributes to safety and continuous improvement.

Starting wage is $24.41 per hour. Schedule features a 3–4 day work week and non-exempt status with standard benefits including safety-focused responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical background or 1 year as Advanced Operator.
• Basic experience maintaining/troubleshooting machine control systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA Industrial Safety standards and practices.

Job description

• Only work 3 (36 hours) to 4 (48 Hours) days per week!

• Starting at $24.41 per hour

Essential Accountabilities:

• Perform routine troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
• Provide labor to assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Respond to and address basic technical issues.
• Assist the Equipment Planner and Continuous Improvement Technician.
• Complete assigned rebuild work orders.
• Utilize maintenance EAM software to track all work progress and materials to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Identify and communicate parts needed to supervisor or Parts Room Coordinator.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
• Participate in process development activities and projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.

• Associates have a direct and important role in ensuring that all work is performed in a safe manner. Effectiveness in carrying out this responsibility is part of each associate's essential accountabilities.

Required Skills:

Must possess a high school diploma

• Must have excellent safety and attendance records
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of mechanical background or 1 year as an Advanced Operator.
• Basic experience maintaining/troubleshooting machine control systems required
• Knowledge of OSHA Industrial Safety standards and practices
• Welding/fabricating/layout skills preferred
• Good communication/documentation skills, ability to read and write English
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 ft.
• Basic computer skills required
