Job summary

Hamilton by Gunnebo in Milford, AR is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production lines.

You will perform preventive maintenance, support PLCs and controls, and keep facility systems running, while adhering to OSHA and LOTO standards.

This role offers hands-on work with welding, fabrication, and installation tasks, and requires strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with AC/DC circuits, low voltage systems, and 480V industrial power distribution.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot PLCs, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
• Repair hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, motors, pumps, and conveyors.
• Welding, metal fabrication, pipefitting, carpentry, and basic plumbing skills.
• Maintenance on HVAC, dust collection, and general facility systems.
• Strong adherence to OSHA and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures on production lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines per schedule to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot or program PLCs and control panels.
• Maintain facility systems including HVAC, lighting, and plumbing.
• Follow OSHA, LOTO, and PPE requirements.
• Log repairs, update work orders, and track spare parts inventory.

Job description

• Equipment Repair & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures on production lines and plant machinery.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Inspect, oil, calibrate, and service machines regularly according to a set schedule to avoid unexpected breakdowns. [1, 2]
• PLC & Controls Support: Monitor, troubleshoot, or program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and basic electrical control panels. [1]
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain building systems, including HVAC units, lighting, boilers, air compressors, and plumbing. [1]
• Safety & Compliance: Follow strict OSHA guidelines, complete proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). [1]
• Documentation & Parts: Log repairs, track maintenance work orders, and monitor spare parts inventory in shop stock

Requirements
