Job summary

Wabash is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform a variety of tasks on the production floor, indoors and outdoors. The role involves hands-on duties across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and hydraulics, with lifting requirements up to 70 pounds and snow removal in winter.

Experience with SAP PM is preferred. Training provides orientation and several days on the production floor. A pre-employment drug screen is required, and accommodations are available as needed.

Maintenance Tech’s perform a variety of tasks at Wabash that vary from location to location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Training, Skills and/or Experience:

Experience and education are a plus; however, it’s not required. Wabash provides training for all assembler positions. Upon receiving an offer letter from us, you’ll undergo orientation and several days of training, preparing you for the production floor.

Physical Demands:

As a Maintenance Tech, you are regularly required to stand, walk, lean, push, climb, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, handle, and operate tools or controls for the entirety of their shift. The employee needs full range of motion in arms and hands, all assemblers must be able to successfully communicate with fellow employees as well. Some employees also work in small spaces throughout their shift and frequently lift and/or carry objects weighting up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus, along with good hand-eye coordination.
