Physical Demands:
As a Maintenance Technician, you are regularly required to stand, walk, lean, push, climb, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, handle and operate tools or controls for the length of their entire shift. The employee needs full range of motion in their arms and hands in this position. All Maintenance Technician's must be able to successfully communicate with fellow employees as well. Some Maintenance Technicians also work in small spaces throughout their shift and frequently lift and/or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus, along with good hand-eye coordination. Maintenance Technicians must be able to work at heights or from a ladder as required. They must also have the ability to push or pull up to 100 pounds intermittently and perform tasks that require twisting, turning, and working in uncomfortable positions. Additionally, technicians must have the ability to see and work in low-light areas. The role also requires the ability to operate and use a tricycle as needed.
