DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our distribution center in Goodyear, AZ. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, following PM standards, and reporting parts usage to leadership.

The 2nd shift runs Monday-Thursday 4:00pm–2:30am with a $1.00/hr shift premium. A high school diploma or GED is required; vocational/technical credential or an associate degree is preferred.

• Preferred: vocational/technical certificate or Associate Degree in mechanical or electrical field.
• 3-5 years of experience.

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility. Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system.
• Assist in the reporting of spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to help ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
• Assist outside vendors in order to complete projects within the DCs in a safe and timely manor.
• Take on other responsibilities and tasks as need to support our operational needs.

OVERVIEW

Pay Rate: $25.60/hr

Shifts Available:

2nd: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30am (additional $1.00/hr)

Role Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility. Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system. Base knowledge should include PLC’s, conveyors, 3 phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and any other related equipment.
• Assist in the reporting of spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to help ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
• Assist outside vendors in order to complete projects within the DCs in a safe and timely manor.
• Take on other responsibilities and tasks as need to support our operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent; Preferred: vocational/technical certificate or Associate Degree in Mechanical o Electrical field.
• 3-5 years experience
