Job summary

JCMLiving is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support HVAC and property operations at our Lancaster PA sites. This hands-on role will diagnose and repair HVAC systems and perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs to keep residents safe and comfortable.

You will collaborate with contractors, supervise seasonal tasks, and participate in an on-call rotation. A valid driver’s license and a proven safety/quality track record are required in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience and/or relevant certifications.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems.
• Tackle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance installation, drywall, flooring, and masonry tasks.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and seasonal operations (e.g., snow removal, grounds care).

No two days are the same. You will serve as the resident expert across a wide range of hands-on disciplines:

Climate & Comfort Master: Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC heating and cooling systems to keep residents comfortable year-round.

Core Systems Expert: Tackle diverse daily challenges spanning plumbing, light electrical, carpentry, appliance installation, drywall, flooring, and masonry.

Community Defender: Execute preventative maintenance programs and oversee seasonal operations (like snow removal and grounds care) to keep our properties pristine, safe, and beautiful.

Collaborative Builder: Partner directly with third-party contractors, property supervisors, and site staff to drive large-scale projects and property refurbishments to completion.

What You Bring to the Team

Technical Proficiency: Proven HVAC experience and/or relevant certifications, with a well-rounded working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, and general repairs.

Mobility & Independence: A valid driver's license and the ability to operate company vehicles (golf carts, quads, and utility trucks).
