Job summary

Aspen Square Management in Peoria, IL is seeking a versatile maintenance technician to support our properties. You will complete work orders, perform HVAC maintenance, prepare apartments for new residents, and collaborate with on-site teams to maintain high standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of maintenance experience, EPA licensure, hands-on HVAC skills, and the ability to participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience (property management or housing experience is advantageous).
• EPA licensure is required.
• Hands-on HVAC proficiency and working knowledge of building systems.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations for emergencies as scheduled.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Provide own hand tools for daily tasks.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems, performing repairs and preventive upkeep.
• Prepare apartments for new residents, make readies, and punch list.
• Collaborate with maintenance and office teams to uphold property standards.
• Uphold the visual appeal of the property and curb appeal.
• Provide top-notch customer service to residents.
• All other duties as assigned.
