Job summary

Mondelēz International is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to safeguard equipment reliability and minimize downtime on packaging lines.

You will own the facility's mechanical infrastructure, perform preventive care, and troubleshoot rapidly to maintain production. This role requires 2–4 years of hands-on experience or completion of an approved apprenticeship, plus ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate lift equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2–4 years in maintenance or completed Apprenticeship.
• Technical core: pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, drives, basic machining, welding, and electrical basics.
• Problem solving: root-cause analysis and practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance using CMMS (SAP-PM).
• Diagnose, repair, and replace defective parts on high-speed lines.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, and blueprints.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to improve operations.
• Safely operate material handling and elevated work equipment.
