Job summary

Mountain Top Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Wright Township, PA, seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance department, perform repairs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate a range of tools.

This full-time, on-site position includes weekend on-call availability and a benefits package with health, dental, vision insurance, PTO, holidays, 401(k) and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out work assignments as directed by supervisor.
• Complete painting projects at facility; prep, trim, and cleanup.
• Perform routine plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and repair work.
• Safely operate lawn, hand, and power tools including snow blowers.
• Replace burned out light bulbs and ballasts regularly.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedule and tasks.
• Report hazardous equipment and conditions to supervisor.
• Conduct daily rounds to check maintenance requests and perform repairs.
• Work independently on long-term projects.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and rights during maintenance.
• Be available for weekend work.
• Follow safe working habits.
