Job summary

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is seeking a self-motivated Maintenance Tech to join our Emmetsburg, IA team. This hands-on role is responsible for maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment after diagnosing issues.

You'll perform preventative maintenance, fabricate plant items, troubleshoot electrical problems, and uphold sanitation standards while working Monday–Friday with on-call duties as needed. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in mechanical, construction or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace broken equipment after diagnosing the problem.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Fabricate plant items from metal or wood using welding tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs.
• Maintain plant sanitation standards and perform other duties as assigned.
