Ag Processing Inc (AGP) in Sergeant Bluff, IA is hiring a self-motivated Maintenance Tech for a full-time, hands-on role at our plant. You’ll repair and maintain equipment, fabricate parts, and ensure sanitation and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in mechanical, construction or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications.
• Skilled in operating a forklift, bobcat and end-loader.
• Excellent oral and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment after analyzing the problem.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Fabricate plant items from metal or wood using welders and related tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform repairs when needed.
• Maintain plant sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
