Job summary

Horizon Land Management is hiring a Full Time Maintenance Tech at our Lothian, MD communities. This role covers grounds maintenance, landscaping, winter plowing/salting, water/sewer repair, and onsite structures upkeep. You will respond to emergencies, troubleshoot issues, and assist with evictions as needed.

Prior maintenance or groundskeeping experience is a plus; training is available for the right candidate. A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining community grounds (mowing, trimming, trash pickup).
• Landscaping tasks as needed.
• Plowing and salting during winter months.
• Repair of water/sewer lines as needed.
• Maintenance of on-site structures, grounds, and equipment.
• Assist in evictions (securing and padlocking homes).
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and troubleshoot issues.
