Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot and service material handling equipment and building systems at our Springfield, MA facility. You will perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, HVAC and refrigeration, and ensure safety standards are met.

The role requires 1 year of related maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work a Sunday–Thursday night shift from 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of maintenance, material handling equipment maintenance, and general maintenance in a large warehouse or fleet shop.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Maintain refrigeration, HVAC and related facilities following preventative maintenance schedules.
• Schedule and perform maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.
• Order parts, keep records, and support the maintenance shop operations.
• Work Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM.
