The role requires experience or vocational training in welding, electrical or mechanical repair, and refrigeration or hydraulics; poultry or food processing experience is preferred. Strong English communication and adherence to LEAN and safety policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have experience or vocational training in welding, electrical or mechanical repair, and refrigeration or hydraulics.
• Poultry or food processing experience preferred.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Repairs, replaces, corrects or affects equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Consults with engineers and vendors; performs layout work and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Meets safety requirements and complies with policies and government regulations.
• Participates as a Team member; supports cohesiveness and communicates effectively.
• Follows Simmons operating systems principles (LEAN, quality, security) and contributes ideas for improvement.
• Performs other duties to support business objectives.
• Physical duties: lifting 75–150 pounds; extreme temperatures; noisy/heavy work environment.
• Technical experience in welding, electrical or mechanical repair, and refrigeration/hydraulics.
