Join the Woodlawn Team as a Maintenance Tech – Evening Shift!

Woodlawn is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for general light maintenance tasks to help ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced environment. This position is Full time, evening shift, with rotating weekends/holidays.

Educational Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or relevant experience preferred but not required.
• Previous experience with floor care strongly preferred.
• Valid Indiana Driver’s License required.
• Good communication skills and pleasant phone technique as required.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work in a multi-task environment where interruptions may be frequent.

Primary Duties:

• Clean, strip, re-coat, and buff floors.
• Carpet Cleaning
• General light maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Assist in maintenance of hospital grounds.
• Assist in snow and ice removal as needed.
• Perform routine security functions.
• Perform functions as requested to maintain interior and exterior appearance of the hospital’s buildings, grounds, and clinics.
• Paint and perform carpentry work as needed.
• Assist Service Technicians as requested.
• Be able to respond to emergency calls as required.

Position: Full-time; Evening Shift; 8-hour shifts
