Tempur Sealy is hiring a Maintenance Tech/Electrician for the Mountain Top, PA facility. The role handles electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive care for manufacturing equipment, ensuring safe operations and high uptime.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in industrial electrical systems and control wiring.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment is preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and electrical safety procedures to minimize incidents.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, control wiring, and electrical controls to diagnose and fix equipment issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns and perform repairs to restore production.
• Inspect and repair mechanical components including hydraulics, pumps, and piping.
• Assist with PLC-related troubleshooting as needed.
• Participate in maintenance projects including installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Collaborate with production teams to address equipment concerns and coordinate maintenance.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment issues.
• Identify recurring problems and suggest improvements to reliability.

Pay ranges from $30.90 to $37.10 per hour. The schedule consists of eight-hour shifts, five days a week.OUR COMPANY OFFERS GREAT BENEFITS, INCLUDING:· Generous Paid Time Off· Competitive Medical, Dental & other wellness programs· Disability and Life Company Paid· Retirement Plan Options· Generous Employee Purchase Discounts**What You Will Do:*** Follow all safety guidelines, electrical safety procedures, and established safe work practices to support the organization’s goal of zero incidents.* Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, control wiring, and electrical controls to identify and resolve manufacturing equipment issues.* Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to support reliable operation and minimize unplanned downtime.* Diagnose equipment breakdowns and complete repairs to safely restore production.* Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical components and systems, including hydraulics, pumps, and piping.* Support troubleshooting of programmable logic controller (PLC)-controlled equipment, with training provided as needed.* Participate in maintenance projects, including equipment installation, upgrades, and modifications.* Collaborate with production team members to identify equipment concerns and coordinate maintenance needs.* Document preventive maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues.* Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend improvements to equipment reliability and operation.**Maintenance Tech*** Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and operate machinery continuously.* Ability to routinely lift objects of 25lbs. and push or pull objects up to 50 lbs.* Ability to work overtime and flexible hours during high-demand production seasons.* Associate’s degree or equivalent experience* 3-5 years’ experience in industrial electrical systems, control wiring, control systems (electrical).* General operating knowledge of PLC’s used in an automated manufacturing plant preferred, but willing to train.* General knowledge and background in manufacturing equipment, hydraulic systems, pumps, piping systems (mechanical).* Certification in Arc Flash is a plus but not required.Tempur Sealy is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
