Qualifications

• Maintenance experience is important, but attitude matters just as much.
• Two years of maintenance or related experience preferred.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, appliances, or general repairs is a plus.
• Senior living, healthcare, hospitality, apartment, or multifamily maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.

Responsibilities

• Complete general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, painting, carpentry, and other everyday building needs.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests with patience, kindness, and a smile.
• Help prepare apartments for new residents, including painting, repairs, cleaning, and completing final touches.
• Assist with maintaining our grounds and exterior areas so our community is welcoming and well cared for.
• Perform routine inspections and identify concerns before they become bigger problems.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and life-safety tasks.
• Keep maintenance areas, storage rooms, shops, and equipment clean and organized.
• Accurately document completed work and maintenance activities.
• Work with outside vendors when needed.
• Jump in and help the team when unexpected needs arise.
