Job summary

HM DUNN AEROSYSTEMS 1 is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery and electrical systems at its Wichita facility. The role includes managing hazardous waste and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental rules.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, high-voltage electrical work, machine tool operation, and coordination with EH&S for environmental paperwork. A strong background in CNC/manual machines is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience with Fanuc, Siemens and Mazatrol controls.
• Experience with electrical and electronic components of CNC/manual machines.
• Experience with Makino machines preferred.
• Strong math and measurement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and equipment for proper operation.
• Detect malfunctions and discuss operation variations with supervisors or maintenance staff.
• Dismantle defective machines and install parts.
• Install and repair high voltage electrical systems and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and lubrication.
• Set up and operate machine tools to fabricate/repair parts.
• Operate welding equipment to join metal parts.
• Perform facilities maintenance including carpentry, lighting, plumbing.
• Follow company safety rules and EH&S compliance.
• Coordinate with EH&S to file environmental paperwork.
